I have been working in the Health and Fitness industry for over 8 years but have had a passion for sport and fitness from an early age.

In 2001 I graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University with a degree in Physical Education and decided that I wanted to use my own knowledge and passion to help other people improve their own health and fitness. After graduating, I worked as a gym instructor and then the assistant manager of a gym and found that I loved helping people achieve their goals. In 2004 I studied in Dublin at the National College for Exercise and Health Studies and gained the National Qualification in Personal Training. Upon returning to England I worked as a personal trainer, aerobics instructor and a manager at various health clubs in Leeds and Manchester. During my time as a personal trainer I have helped people run 10k´s and half marathons, lose weight, tone up to fit in their wedding dress and helped pregnant mums keep fit and healthy during their pregnancy.

As the world of health and fitness is continually evolving I enjoy keeping my knowledge up to date by reading the latest fitness articles and attending training courses and conventions. But, the greatest love of my job is helping others to achieve their goals, often goals they never dreamed possible!
